John and a friend of ours used to prank each other on Halloween every year. John made a very realistic "Haunt Real Estate" sign one year to put on her lawn. This mummy is another thing John made to prank our friend.
It was life sized, made out of paper mache and he left it on her front step to greet her in the morning when she opened the door. This was the year after our friend made a giant spider out of PVC pipe, put it on the top of John's jeep in the school parking lot and covered the jeep with spider webs!
John loved to go all out for Halloween when our kids were growing up. He'd make a graveyard in the front yard, adding to it every year. We had a haunted tree like in "The Wizard of Oz" and a stump with a face (Mr. Stumpy). Eventually he made a coffin and put light up eyes in it. If you look closely, you can see a ghost in the upstairs window (the face is a skeleton head lit from the bottom - very creepy)!

John is very creative even making a witch out of an old doll!! We gave alot of our stuff to Jeff and Tara so I sort of thought we were done with that, but it looks like we're going to have some new stuff this year! Some kids never grow up - thank goodness!
That mummy is great! And that DOLL is SO creepy all on its own!.....nightmares!
