Rehearsal Dinner

After months and months of preparation, the wedding day was ALMOST here! The Proudfits arrived from Phoenix, Meg drove in from NYC - our house was full again!

The day of the wedding rehearsal was also the day President Obama picked to come to Buffalo for a couple hours. The people from South Buffalo had no problem getting to the church which was IN South Buffalo. Those of us from North of Buffalo were challenged to get to the church on time. Eventually everyone arrived- after taking detours and/or being at a dead stop on the freeway for awhile.


After the rehearsal, we all proceeded to the Dove Restaurant in Orchard Park for dinner. This restaurant was fabulous! The food was SOOOOO delicious with very generous portions! Here are some pictures from the evening:
